Jerry W. Burgess, D.D.S.
A native Texan, Dr. Burgess was born in Pampa and reared in Wheeler, Texas. He finished his pre-dental studies at Abilene Christian University while majoring in biology and chemistry and teaching labs. Dr. B. received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Dental Branch in the Houston Medical Center. He has lived out of Texas for only two years while completing military service in the U.S. Army Dental Corps in Alabama and overseas.
Dr. Burgess began his practice in Grapevine in 1971. He and his wife, Linda, have a daughter, Becca, and a son, Brian. Dr. B. and Linda have 4 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. Dr. B and Linda live in Southlake.
Dr. B. believes in long term relationships based on trust and gentle care. He has treated several three generations of families. His main areas of practice interest are cosmetic, restorative, including veneers, crowns, and bridges, and geriatric care. Dr. B. enjoys the people aspect of dentistry. Improving smiles and promoting overall health are a passion of his.
Dr. B. has been a member of numerous civic and professional organizations and has served on the Grapevine Planning and Zoning Board and the Advisory Board of the First National Bank of Grapevine. He has served as both deacon and elder in the Church of Christ.
In his spare time, Dr. B. enjoys hunting and fishing with his "guys". His family is his treasure.
